Brand positioning and identity for small businesses

Know what makes you different. Say it clearly. Look the part.

LEAP WORKS helps small businesses figure out what sets them apart, put it into words customers remember, and carry it through everything from the website to the truck door.

AI can make a logo in seconds. It can't tell anyone why you're the one to choose.

A brand is more than a logo.

The work is deciding why customers should choose you, then saying it the same way everywhere.

Bloom paints fresh pink and blue stripes on a small delivery van while Juniper paints a shopfront from a ladder and Scout watches nearby.

Carried through everything.

A brand only works when it shows up the same way everywhere: the website, the sign over the door, the side of the van, and the email your team sends this afternoon.

How a brand project runs.

Listen first, then decide, then design.

  1. Weeks 1–2

    Listen

Conversations with you, your team, and a few customers, plus a look at the businesses you compete with.

  2. Week 3

    Position

A short positioning statement and the key messages, reviewed with you until they feel right.

  3. Weeks 4–5

    Express

The voice guide and the visual identity: colors, type, and logo work where it's needed.

  4. Week 6

    Hand off

Your brand guide, logo files, and templates, plus a walkthrough for your team.

Your brand voice, ready for AI.

We turn your voice guide into instructions your team can use with ChatGPT or Copilot, so the emails, posts, and replies AI helps write still sound like your business.

Straight answers.

Do I need a new logo?

Often not. Using what you have more clearly and consistently can do more than a new mark. If your logo is holding you back, we'll refresh it as part of the work.

Do you design logos on their own?

We can, but we usually recommend logo work as part of a brand project, so the logo fits a clear position instead of standing alone.

Why not just use AI to make a logo?

AI can make a picture. It can't decide what makes you different, who you're for, or how to say it.

What do I get at the end?

A short brand guide with your positioning, key messages, voice, colors, type, and logo files, plus templates and AI instructions that match your voice.
